ClassiPost - Warning: Illegal string offset on Frontpage "Tabs"

On my site I see suddenly (instead of the tabs) error codes like:

I found out, that this comes from PHP 7.1... but with my hosting company, I can not go down. Only 5.6 / 7.1 / 7.2 or 7.3 are available.

Can you please help me on this issue?
