    Exclude a particular category from home page

    Recently I purchased ClassiPost theme and it works great. However, I have the following question:
    Is it possible to exclude a particular category (by category ID or name) from the main page, so that ads from this particular category won't be visible in the "Latest" , "Popular" and "Random" tabs on the homepage?
    If so, what lines of code should I change in the theme's script?
