Make tags searchable.

It would be cool if we had an option to include tags as part of the search results. Right now if you search my site for york university you get 3 results but we have 8 different lots tagged as York university the other 5 didn't show up. We have a tag cloud that helps but we'd really like to have all the relevant results shown

Has anyone tried this yet? I installed the search everything plugin as David suggested but no luck. Tags aren't coming up.

yep i tried it and it worked go into the plugin settings and you have to turn tag searching on

Sure did. Still isn't working.

It's supposed to search the "post tags" correct?

I've tried re-activating all the plugins to no avail.

Note, I'm using WP 2.8. Any idea if that's the problem?

Having the same problem. If anyone has any suggestions. Tried all the above.

What the use of tags if they are not searchable, well a little SEO, but tags should be make that way... also should be hyperlinked to a search by tag thus then find all posts with that tag.
