    VBulletin Support

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has successfully integrated VBulletin or PHPBB with their Classipress theme.

David, could you consider this going forward please.

    Cheers,

    Patrick.

    Re: VBulletin Support

Not really something the theme should have to handle. This is more to do with wordpress to vBulletin. The theme in reality is just a complex overlay to Wordpress.

Search on vbulletin.org or google for "wordpress - vbulletin bridge" and you'll find some answers. I'll be using one for a non classipress project soon.

ClassiPress is, merely, a WordPress theme. If you're looking for a forum to add-on to ClassiPress you're looking at it the wrong way as you need to look at adding a forum to WordPress itself. For that matter, take a look at bbpress.

    Re: VBulletin Support

I originally had a phpbb forum for my website, but recently switched to bbpress so users don't have to log in twice..It works fine, is just a bit basic and not as "pretty".. I have since been told you can integrate phpbb with WP but I haven't looked into it yet..

    Re: VBulletin Support

    Thanks guys,

I just realized I was asking in the wrong place. I've since researched BBPress and the VBulletin bridge plugin.

Thanks for all the prompt replies.

    Patrick.
