Custom Fields: Checkboxes for multiple selections

Just a quick feature request: In the custom fields portion, it would be great if we could also designate checkbox options for a field so that the customer can select multiple selections instead of just the drop down and text areas.

For example, one of my sites has a field that asks customers to indicate what usage rights the customer gains with purchase of the product and for many of my customers there would be several selections which would be appropriate.

I would like this also very much. This option is missing and would make forms perfect
Maybe someone can make a mod for this or I could be included in the next update.

This is a must have, and also a search module with checkboxs options to filter the Ads.

Another vote for checkboxes... this is a basic requirement for custom form fields.

This is something that I REALLY need! For some reason I assumed it would be part of 3.0 custom fields since it is a pretty common field type.

Either that or allow multiple selections on the drop-downs fields.

Anyone have any clue how to do this?

I also would love this.

I'm building an employment classifieds site, and I want job listers to be able to apply many attributes to their offered position.

The best way is to show them a menu of attributes with checkboxes for them to select from. They could check multiple boxes from a menu within a given custom field.

Everything else is GREAT, but this one little thing is going to be what keeps me from being able to use this
