Number color change or "New Ad" logo
The category page as a whole is real nice. I've had a couple people say that everything kinda blends in together and it's hard to see what categories have numbers and which ones don't. I would suggest that number of ads in a category if above one be a different color or show "new listing", "new ad" or something to highlight the area so to speak. Without mentioning other classifieds software this is common in their systems since they were getting the same responses that no one could really see the numbers. The highlighted or different color of number attracts attention to it and makes people want to click it.
