Thank you. I researched that plugin a little - the authors homepage is defunct.
There appears to be no support and no resolved forum questions for several months.
I would caution AppThemes not to rely on plugins too much. Relying on others to do the work is an issue with WordPress. . .when the next upgrade comes out, all the plugins, themes, etc have to be compliant and often need upgrading. Sorry for the rant.
Really all that is needed is an opt-in check box - to allow us to legally send users an email.
It should be a simple matter for a good coder.
