    Recent Blog Posts options

    Hi!
    I'd love to be able to choose if I want to show an excerpt or just the title of recent blog posts in this widget

    With the full excerpt it takes up far too much room. I'd like to be able to place it on the main page but it's too HUGE. If it only had titles (and maybe dates) it would be doable.
    I know it's possible to edit the code in sidebar-blog-posts.php but the edit would need to be done with every new update.
    If it were an option then everyone would benefit!

    I would suggest you keep an eye on the upcoming "child themes". I'm not sure enhancing the widget will make it in the next release, but we will put your request in the list and consider it.
