Thread to compare Optimal Classified Sites

I think it would be useful to have a thread (this one) to compare different classified sites, and figure out which ad placing procedure provides the optimal experience to users.

My personal favourite is - www.donedeal.ie

    1. you don't need to register to place ads. you give a password for each ad, then in the ad there is an edit/remove link. Registration puts some people off.
    2. it allows the user to pay by phone.
    3. it has good image pop up functions.
    4. really good search function.
    5. allows users to choose whether they get email or phone replies or both

Is this CP websites or any classifieds?

I was thinking any. That site I linked at the top - donedeal.ie has, in my opinion, the optimal classified placing system.

Alos @ Rubencio - your site is amazing! I would love if my site looked that good. Will this be available as a theme for classipress?

I'm not planning to make a childtheme or so but I can make your site looks better than mine with some changes!

I've been using other classifieds app out there, but I do like the layout of Classipress and it seems to be more flexible comparing with the one I'm using.

But just looking at that REGISTRATION to post an ad, I agree that turns people off. Most of my users DO NOT register and they are able to post. Even without registration they can pay for a feature ad.

Second thing, it does not make sense to me to have that $0 defined as the option for a free add (once they are registered).

I'm new with Classipress and this seems to be one feature needed by MANY people. So the question is: why not implement in the next release? I know some people have posted some workarounds (which would be lost on an upgrade, something not too good).

    thanks!
