Adding a field to default menu

Hi there, I created a lot of ad categories and defined many custom fields to few of them, but some categories I left with out assigning to a new menu, so when some one places a new advert and for example picks misc from dropdown categories list when placing the advert and clicks on go button, then the default menu fields appears, now what I like to know is how to add an other field here, like a phone number field as it's not available, and this I like to manage with out creating a new menu with custom fields. Any help please?
