Big probs with Form layouts!
I've been struggling with having an ad submission form for Scotland. While our primary focus will be the US we do want the occasional International listings.
It seems the default ad-form REQUIRES a US state to be entered even though the user has selected a European address. An odd requirement for sure! So the suggestion was to create a custom form. Cool idea... EXCEPT: The custom form REQUIRES a category! and once that category (or categories) are added to that form, they can be used with NO OTHER FORM! GAK!
I have the feeling the "Form Layouts" option on the Classipress Dashboard should be renamed something like "Ad-Category Form Layouts".
Am I missing something here? It is looking like the
requirement to have categories associated with a Form severely limits their use. Now scrambling for an idea on how to have our friends in Scotland enter their ads.
Has anybody found a work-around for this?
