Categories that only admins can post in

Hi all,

I would like to have some categories on my site that only admins, maybe editors (maybe its simpler to make it anyone but a contributor) can ad ads to. I mean have some categories that don't show up in the drop-down at step 1 of uploading an advert but are still viewable on the website and in the search engine.

Can anyone help me?
