Changing the ENTIRE background in ClassiPress...
Alright. I've searched the forum high and low for a solution to adding a background image to Classipress (The entire page, starting from the very top of the page), without any luck.
First, I tried slicing my background image into horizontal strips and making the header bar, logo background, menu bar, etc, into images with each being one of the strips from the image. This worked perfectly in Safari, however, for some reason this broke in a few other browsers. Fail... and no one replied to my original thread in the forum about it either.
Now I'm trying again... by turning the opacity of all the header elements down to 0 (zero), so you can see through them to the page below (and theoretically a background image eventually). I've set the classified's MAIN background to the background image I'd like to use, which you can see here...

1) I've tried to position the background image upwards with with absolute positioning... but this breaks the entire page in all browsers...
2) I've tried to make the header bar the background image so it starts from the top... but this doesn't seem to do anything.
I think we need someone to write a definitive guide to changing the ENTIRE background in Classipress once and for all!
I use the "Fresh News" wordpress theme for my main site at
www.Tremblant360.com from WooThemes, which was much much easier to change the background image. The header area of classipress looked similar to the default Fresh News theme, but it's been much more difficult to change/ position the background in classipress, which is very frustrating.
Please help!
