Chaning Ad Listing Base URL
My main site URL works fine with a filter block for some ISPs (based on site classification) however the path URL/Ads is categorized differently and blocked. Site visitors can open my homepage but as soon as they click on an Ad (containing the path /Ads), the site gets blocked. Tried contacting the filter admin to change the classification for /Ads path but things are moving slow.. nothing done so far.. I am considering changing the "Ad Listing Base URL" of my site from "/Ads" to "/Something else" (something else), what are the risks involved with that? Will my site break? I am not too worried about backlinks as long as my site remains fully functional. There must be a reason to have the option to change the Ad Listing Base URL from the classipress admin end.. any thoughts? Anything I am missing that may mess up my site?
