    Question Base url listing for ads

    I want to remove the "ads" base from the url, but how?
    I tried everything without success. I need to remove "ads" because already have the site in a subdirectory and don't want to urls like:
    www.sitename.com/subdirectory/ads/post-name but: www.sitename.com/subdirectory/post-name

    I think this is possible but I don't know how
    Please help me
