    Child theme advice

    I had a customized child theme and was using Classipress 3.17 I just installed the latest version and most of theme is not working. Which would be easier to do, create a new child theme based off the Classipress 3.21 or modify the existing? Elements are out of place if I use the current child theme fonts are mis-sized things like that.
