Is Classipress 3.3 an upgrade or new (overwrite) installation?

Sorry for the newb question but I started developing a Classipress 3.2.1 site in March. I have done some customizations I found on the forums. Before I go to far, it seems like I should get Classipress 3.3 installed. My question is this a new install that overwrites the previous Classipress 3.2.1 (i.e. I lose any customizations I made?)
