Classipress 4 version, please advise.

We still use Classipress 3 since Classipress 4 design and layers are not something that works with our business model. We have checked the child theme available for classipress 4 but still could not find something that works for us and there are not many options. So we decided to keep working with classipress 3 for now and start thinking to move our wordpress to a different and similar theme provided by other companies in future. However there are few questions we have before doing so:

1. How long classipress 3 would be compatible with updates of wordpress, or how long can we use it?
2. Is there any plan that AppThemes may look differently to classipress 3 or to keep the old clients happy by updating classipress 3?
3. Can AppThemes consider classipress 3 and classipress 4 as completely different themes so clients have option to choose between them?
4. Is there anyway we can keep classipress 3 and pay for the updates yearly? (Since we believe it would be reasonable for AppThemes to charge clients once a year for the value of the theme price tag and we are happy to pay for it)
5. Can we use and pay 3th party developers to come up with the updates for classipress 3?
