Classipress - Categories setup unbalanced

I've altered my category list many times to try and keep a balanced look and to no avail it gets worse. There are huge gaps if you use the 3 column setting. If you can use the 2 column setting and it evens out you should be able to use the 3 column setting as well and it even out. I've noticed other post that were closed, but no answers. I'm not code guy, but if it evens out with 2 columns it should be fairly simple to even it out with 3 columns or if not easy a fix. I also noticed they are in alphabetical order. There should be a way to drag and drop them where you want them just like with the custom forms and menu items. Just my two cents. Any help appreciated.
