ClassiPress Categories translation with WPML

Hello,

I am using ClassiPress version 3.3 and WPML. The site is running in French and Dutch. So far so good, but the categories are translated as new categories.

That means on the french side my categories have a different slug than the categories on the dutch side.
This means that the ads submitted from the french side of the site cannot be seen from the dutch side and vice versa.

I saw here and there that it was a reported problem to you and to WPML but I have not seen any solution?

Could you please point me out in the right direction so that the translation of categories fully works?
