Classipress using too much of the server resources. Help please!

My webhost is telling me that my classipress installation is using too many resources on the server and will shut down my site. They already did once, but for now I have it back up. I would love help with figuring out what is wrong and how to correct it. So far I have turned off and deleted many plugins.

One question I have is whether any of these cron jobs would cause a problem:

app_order_processing Once Hourly
wp_version_check Twice Daily
wp_update_plugins Twice Daily
wp_update_themes Twice Daily
wp_scheduled_delete Once Daily
dbmanager_cron_optimize WP-DBManager Optimize Schedule
dbmanager_cron_repair WP-DBManager Repair Schedule
dbmanager_cron_backup WP-DBManager Backup Schedule
cp_send_membership_reminder Once Daily
wp_scheduled_auto_draft_delete Once Daily

Can I delete the cp_send_membership_reminder cron job since i don't use any of the membership stuff? And how would I delete that cron job?

I am also using the GridMod child theme. I've got WP Super Cache turned on.

My site has about 2700 users, and currently has about 2200 ads (and I've probably delete at least a 1000 ads that have been sold).

Thanks for any help! I am at a loss and can't afford to pay for dedicated hosting. I'm on a shared hosting account.
