CP Favicon Conflict with "Hide Widgets on Mobile" Plugin.
This is for all CP Theme Owners using the following plugin: CP Favicon Conflict with "
Hide Widgets on Mobile" Plugin. This plugin is not part of the Market Place List of CP Plugins. The plugin is suppressing the CP Theme's and any child theme's favicon functions. This is only affecting all frontend pages in IE, Safari, FF, and Chrome Browsers.
The favicon function is sound, and is printing the required code within the page source. However, the favicon will not display. After 6 hours of testing and research, I confirm the Hide Widgets on Mobile Plugin is preventing the display of the favicon. I have made Mohsin aware of this and look forward to him resolving this.
