I have modified the core theme of classipress and was wondering if I would achieve the same as a child theme by doing the following?
1) create a child theme folder as per the tutorial
2 create the file as per the tutorial Part 1 (the one where I put my name as the author)
3) copy the content from each file that I have modified (eg sidebar-ad-php) into a different file
4) rename that file "modsidebar-ad-php"
5) ulpoad the file in my child theme folder
6) repeat for each modified file
7) activate the theme!
