Custom field input displayed in table format?

Not sure if my question makes sense but,

I'm wondering if there is a way to organize info from one of my fields so that it displays better. One really should be displayed in a list format and another in a table format.

Has anyone worked on this or have any info?

    can it be done?

    Thanks.
