Email Verification --- Classipress

I have been searching the Threads for several months trying to find a solution to 'Email Verification' of new users.
This question has been asked numerous times over the past 7 years and has never been answered. At least I have
not come across the answer.

So, I will ask it again. My site has been bombarded with new registrations Spam to the point where I had to implement
some very aggressive IP blocks. I purchased a plugin which does email verification but it is not compatible with
Classipress. The developers of the Plugin say that I just have to modify one or more of the Classipress php files.
As Classipress is not their program they do not know which files to modify.

If anyone knows what Mod's I have to make to the code to bypass the Built-in Classipress Form and
allow Integration of my Plugin, Formidable Registration I would really appreciate it if you posted them.
