Google Maps - Letting a user pick his location?
Has anyone done this or are there any plans to implement this: On the Post a Classified page, display a google map where the user can pin point his location. For example:
http://www.heavens-above.com/LocationFr ... eMaps.aspx
The output of this could be save to another Custom Field. On the ad display, the map could then display the geolocation chosen by the user, or guess it from the location.
Just a suggestion for the developer: Using ajax - after the user enters a location in the location field (on the post a classified page), the google map could refresh to display this location. Then he could choose to pin point the location more exactly if he wishes. For example:
