Help Find Missing & Exploited Children In America
I know that most folks are doing all they can just to earn a few dollars off of their sites. Still, you have a lot of power when you run a website. Power that you don't really consider day to day. If you can spare a bit of space, I would ask you to consider putting this on your site. Somewhere. Anywhere.
Below is the code to add a Google Gadget to your website that will expose people to the faces of missing children.
Code:
<p align="center">
<script language="JavaScript1.2" src="http://www.codeamber.org/js/codea.js">
</script>
</p>
<p align="center">
<font color="#000"><script src="http://gmodules.com/ig/ifr?url=http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/110425332155132166639/ncmec.xml&up_missing_state=MN&up_num_entries=10&synd=open&w=550&h=195&title=Click+Here+Or+Scroll+Down+In+Box+Below+To+See+More+Missing+Children&border=%23ffffff%7C3px%2C1px+solid+%23999999&output=js"></script></font>
</p>
You can change the state that is featured via the gadget by changing the code that says.......
Simply replace the "MN" (Minnesota) with your state's abbreviation.
Want to make it fit in a sidebar widget?
Change the following code......
Where "w" equals width and "h" equals height.
I have added it to my front page and used the template CSS to give it a background that matches everything else. I would be happy to help others if you would like to do this on your own site.
You can see what I've done at gopherads.com - scroll towards the bottom of the page to see it.
The site is for Minnesotan's so please don't sign up or post. I only post the URL so that you can see this gadget in action.
"Missing children" are two words that should never have been placed together under any circumstance. Unfortunately, reality makes it so. Maybe you can help. (???)
Thank you for your consideration.
