HostGator hosting experience
We are running wordpress multisite classipress website (1 subsite) live for 2 years on HostGator cloud shared hosting plan.
For the last 2 months, every few minutes, when loading any page, no response from the server for long time. Then returns error "500: Internal Error / This website is unavailable at the moment". This error keep coming for few minutes and the pages start loading normally.
We reported the issue to HostGator support many many times. Support always reply saying "no issues found", "problem fixed", "server working fine", "website working fine", "contact support when error happens next time", etc. It is highly frustrating that HostGator support never understand what is the issue and never attempt to solve the issue.
We have no idea if issue is with HostGator server or wordpress or multisite or classipress.
We are looking for experts advice on how to solve the "500: Internal Error".
