How to add your favicon to Classipress
Changing favicon should be simple and headache-free to do. There are many different guides on the internet but it's quite complicated. Here is the simple solution that should works to everyone.
1.
Create the favicon with the great favicon generator at
http://www.favicon.cc/.
2.
Upload your favicon to the root of your Wordpress folder via FTP.
3. Located and
delete the old
favicon.ico file. It's usually found in your main theme's images folder.
4.
Go to your browser and type in the location address of your new favicon. (Ie. if your wordpress is installed on your domain, then the address should be something like this hxxp://www.yourdomain.com/favicon.ico.
5. Your are now
DONE! The new favicon should be working and updated.
