Thread: How can I set a max character length in homepage post-block description?

How can I set a max character length in homepage post-block description?

I want to set a limit character length for the description post-block in homepage.
You can see in the attached picture, the description has extra words that make it jump into another line (re...). How can I make it stops at "this book..." so the description can be contained within 2 lines?
