    How to insert a user-selected custom field value as a tag

    Hello, i am using a custom field named "Makes" with a dropbox containing a bunch of car makers. What i want to do is to insert the user selected value as a tag.

    i want to use this value as a tag, not as a category so I can show the Makes in a tag cloud and then make it easier to navigate for crawlers.

    Has anyone done something like this?
