    How to update theme without resetting all my classipress settings

    I used the Appthemes updater plugin to update my Classipress theme to the newest version, and it reset all my classipress settings. Did I do something wrong, or is there a way to update the theme without have to go back through all the setting menus and choosing my settings again?
