How to use nav menus for beginner

Hi Mods,

I know this is very basic stuff for you, but can you help me to do this.

What im trying to do is put my pages like "privacy policy" "terms of Use" "Contact Us" and so forth down the bottom of the page. at the moment these pages are appearing in my main nav menu. Could you please give me a quick tutorial on how to achieve this please.

Below I have a clear example of what im talking bout. I found this website in classipress showcase and its exactly what I want for myself.
