Thread: How to you preserve your mods and keep up with new releases?

    Unhappy How to you preserve your mods and keep up with new releases?

    Like many of you, I have made manyl modifications along the way to my classipress theme. I have always saved the original files before modifying and before activating new releases, so I have a good papertrail of what I did, how I did it and when I did it.
    However, I find myself needing to go back and re-modify files after activating every new release in order to keep the style/function mods that I've done. Again, I have made several mods so this is no easy feat. So....how are you all preserving your awesome mods when you activate a new release? There has to be an easier way. I have not upgraded to 3.0.4 yet because the thought of having to go back in and tinker with files to re-create mods makes my head spin. Someone please impart some wisdom. Thank you kindly.
