Ideas Exchange or black hole?
The Ideas Exchange was, I thought, designed as a way to avoid confusing multiple conversations about requested new features and facilitate the useful exchange of ideas between customers and, I presume, those responsable for the software development. The problem is that once the suggested feature has been listed on the Exchange most conversations, confusing or otherwise, tend to stop. I don't understand why there is not a forum thread dedicated to every suggestion on the Exchange. That way everyone would get the chance to say exactly what they think is needed (or not) and talk about the best solutions. CP designers would also get a much better idea of what the public wants. At the moment there is little to no creative discussion going on about projected features. The Exchange is not being used as a way to refine the suggested idea and I see almost zero imput from management. It's not very encouraging.
