Link to authors latest post outside of the loop?

Hi,

I am using the private message for wordpress plugin (pm4wp).

At the moment I have customized the read message page to include a link back to the senders author page. This uses a piece of the plugins code to extract the senders username and add it to the end of: http://www.sitename.com/author/(senders username)

What I would like to do is to change the link to that of the senders latest post(ad).

I know how to get the senders username into a string or query but I don't know how to find the latest post from the username if that makes any sense?
