Making shadowblocks match

My Ad Categories shadowblock ends just slightly below one of my sidebar shadowblocks, and then underneath I have put my featured ad carousel going across the whole page. This leaves a a bigger gap underneath the sidebar widget, above the featured ads.

Is there a way to tell the sidebar widgets to match the shadowblock length to the length of the ad category shadowblock?
