Need help with child theme/changing things that aren't in stylesheet
Not sure where to change these items so that they don't revert back after Classipress theme updates.
1) On the undertab would like to change "classified ads/just listed" to "Events/just listed".
2) change "Post Ad" on button to "Post an Event". I've already changed this in the parent theme, but I know on the next update it will revert back.
3)change "manage your ads" to "manage your events" on the content_right shadowblock
4)delete "classified ads software/powered by wordpress" in the footer
5) on the register page change "your ads" to "your events".
6)delete or hide "active membership pack" and "membership pack expires date" off of the user profile page as I'm not charging and do not have membership packs enabled.
7)get rid of price tag when no price is specified
I already have my child theme with a style.css and I went ahead and created a function.php file though nothing really is in it. I would appreciate greatly any help that can be offered. As I stated before, I don't want to change these every time the parent theme is updated---I want to do it right the first time! Thanks!
