Thread: need help verifying user

need help verifying user

Trying to make it so people either have to verify their email address with a confirmation link or make it so a password will automatically be emailed to them. This is a key feature that I need to move forward with my site. Does anyone know what I need to do or have any code suggestions?

It seems that previous threads on this topic have gone unanswered. I only have the latest versions of Classipress but it looks like the earlier versions had this confirmation process? Is there any way that I could implement the older code?

Or, is there a way I could delete the current themed registration page and just use the default Wordpress registration then use a plugin like Registration Plus?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
