    Need subcategories displayed like parent categories - From single column to three+

    My main categories are listed in three columns. Click a parent category and the subcategories are listed in one column resulting in a lot of wasted screen space. I'd like for the subcategories to use the same three column structure.

    Can someone please share this code? If you do not know, can someone please tell me which files/functions and database fields are being called once a parent category is clicked and the resulting page? I am drawing a blank right now and cannot remember.
