Thread: New to classipress

New to classipress

Hi,
I'm a new user of wordpress and classipress.
I'm coming from joomla.

I'm setting a autostand website for my brother.
He will be the only one posting at that site (all cars are his).
I'm new to this so, sorry if i'm asking something nonsense, but:
- is it possible to remove the google map (all cars are at the same place)?
- is it possible to search by brand, model, etc.. (custom field)?
(i have searched at the forum and at several posts user are asking for this...)
- is it possible to set category icons (images)?
(there is a so complicated way for older version of classipress.. is there a easiest way?)
-I have bought the professional edition, so can i remove the reference to classipres from the footer? How (editing files or cp admin)?
- I've read that the way of changing appearance is using a child theme.. but it needs to be programed.. Is there child themes for sale?
