    Question New user roles?

    Has anyone done anything with the creation of new user roles? I would like to create a new user role help identify vendors looking to post ads and visitors that just want to register on the site. Perhaps leave vendors at Contributor level and create a new role for visitors? Has anyone done anything like this? I'm not sure which direction would be best to go in.
