Problem Identified for Featured Listings Slider - Fix Needed
When I click on a category link from the category dropdown on the main menu, the new page slider shows a mixture of ALL types of ads rather than just featured ads.
Looking through the forum, one solution is to make sure that there are in fact some sticky/featured ads in the category, or the slider will compose a mixture of both types.
This however, is not the issue.
The problem:
When clicking on the main 'Ads' link in the main menu, you get taken to a page that has 'more ads' at the bottom, ie it is not a numbered page. There is no problem here, as all the ads within the featured slider are featured ones.
When hovering over the main menu 'Category' item, and clicking onto any link, you get taken to 'page one' of the ads within that section, as opposed to a page where there is an option to click on 'more ads' at the bottom.
I've noticed that when on 'page one', all ads from page one show in the featured slider, whether sticky or not. On page two, all ads from page two show in the slider, sticky or not. Etc, etc, etc.
And therein is the problem to take to the boffins within Appthemes Development.
