Refine Results on Parent Category

Hi all,

The Refine Results sidebar only appears on the sub-category pages on my site. Now, I assume this has to do with the fact that I don't allow ads to be posted in parent categories - and this is due to the structure I have in place. However, I was wondering if there was a way to make the sidebar appear on the parent category pages regardless, as well as the sub-category pages?

Just to show you what I mean, below are some links to a parent & sub-category page on the site.

Parent: http://tinyurl.com/pbggq7v - notice the Refine Results sidebar is not there

Sub-category: http://tinyurl.com/o9gp3bc - the Refine Results sidebar is there

Any help with this is appreciated.
