Register on homepage ?

Hi everyone,

I have seen some classipress websites, putting a login box on their homepage's sidebar. This login box allows registered users to connect to the site, directly from the homepage.

Do you know if it would be possible to implement the same thing for registering?

My idea is as follows: on the sidebar of the homepage, there would be a registering box, where users can directly register to the site (by mentioning their login, email and password). Once this registering process done, they would be redirect to the "add-new" page, where they would be able to post their ads. In summary, we would skip the registering page.

Is that possible, and if yes how?
