    Remove meta tag, any function to do that ?

    Is there a function to remove meta tag
    <meta name="version" content="ClassiPress 3.1.9" /> ?
    I know i can remove it from theme-header.php but i'm using child theme and i would like to use a function in functions.php; Can i do this ?
