Removing features

There's a couple features I'd like to have removed.

1) There are 2 bars that display at the very top of the page. How do I remove the black Wordpress bar that displays when a member is logged in, and how do I remove the black bar that says 'Welcome (visitor/username)'?

2) How do I remove the 'Posts' tab from the member's profile page (displayed next to Ads)?
