Removing Mystery Gray Bar Under Menu

I'm re-styling the colors, borders, fonts, etc. in ClassiPress. Firebug has made short work of finding the appropriate css for each element on the page except for one. There is this grey bar under the menu bar that is invisible to firebug. I've even gone through the html with a fine tooth comb looking at everything between ".header_main_bg" which styles the area above the menu bar to ".content_botbg" and ".content" which style the area below the menu. This mystery bar is clearly between these two areas but I can't find it.

I've found a few others who asked the same question here and some solutions were given but none seem to work.

I've place a screen shot below of the ClassiPress Demo site. I added the css that I typed onto the screen shot to get rid of the color in the area above and below this mystery gray bar.

I'm sure somebody here is much smarter than I am and will have a solution. Thanks in advance to that person.
