    Question Restricting Field Format?

    Hi,

I would like to place restrictions on the formatting of the fields used when posting an ad. In general, I would like to do 2 things:

    1) Restrict the formatting of certain fields by character type. Some examples:
ex. Date format – some of my classifieds will be houses and I want a dates available field. How can I restrict the format to MM/DD/YYYY format?
ex. Postal Code – L#L #L# format for Canadian addresses

    2) Restrict the length of fields (a MAX as well as the min already available for the text box) An example:
ex. Tags – I don’t want people entering 100 tags for their ads

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!
