Returning Search Results (PLURAL)

Hi, Just a quick one, I'm desperately looking to find the relevant coding & php file to allow my search results to return plural search's.

I'm sure you no what I mean but for example if i search for "surfboard" then that's great and i will get a list of ads with the word surfboard init, However if i search for "surfboards" (Plural) i get 0 results back.

This is extremely important when it comes to people finding what they are looking for.

I'd be very grateful if you can help!!
